This is great! Your team did an excellent job planning the specifics. You are ready to roll. What theme will you start on together? If you want to see the one I did for K (although its in Keynote, not powerpoint), you can download it (control click) from here. Good Luck and have fun! You'll be millionaires soon:)!

We began the first training on how to use powerpoint. We had both powerpoint groups in rm21 and used the projector and mobile lab computers to introduce finding and opening powerpoint on your computer, making a slide using a template, changing the size and font of text, creating text boxes, changing colors of the background, using a template for the background, slide transitions and sounds with transitions. The teams created three slides to learn the ins and outs and then created three more slides to practice skills introduced in PLC. They showed the slide show to other members of the team. Homework for the teams: to practice what they learned in PLCs and begin a slide show for their projects. Next time, we will continue with training on powerpoint with text transitions and recording sounds, and importing pictures into the slide show. By December, all team members will be trained in powerpoint. In January, team members will begin work on their projects and be ready to share their work so far in February.

What a great start! And I have heard wonderful things about Nancy's presentation. And what a gift that mobile lab is huh?! Think about possibly integrating creating your projects with your training. You have the basic power point skills and with next month's training you will probably be able to "practice" by actually starting your Theme slideshows. Don't be shy to jump in! Great job!!
