PODCASTING

 Understand the medium
 Understand/define tools
 Create/record new podcast episodes
 Edit episode (e.g. isolate and delete mistakes)
 Add artwork/images/video (if applicable)
 Add jingle/music
 Add chapter markers (if applicable)
 Add URL (if applicable)
 Export podcast (if applicable)
 Post podcast to Internet
 Find other peoples’ podcasts
 Subscribe to other peoples’ podcasts
 Define difference between podcast, enhanced podcast, and video podcast

Thank you Nancy for the enthusiastic presentation!
I would like to start a podcast on "Inch and Miles". My plan is to have the teacher or students read the poems and photograph the book pages that go with the book. If it works well, I might add students' work too!

Focus: Animal Research - Tucker the baby joey came to visit our classroom. 1. Kids will draw pictures of Tucker. 2. We will research kangroos together. 3. I will record the kids giving kangroo facts. 4. I will take pictures of their art work. 5. Put the podcast together. 6. Post to the web.

Podcasting is so cool!!!!! I can't wait to redo my project so it photos line up with the audio. We need the newest ilife on our computers. Do we know if we will be getting it any time soon? My kids were so excited!!! Now I want to use it for all of our major projects. Now I can't wait to get my website and blog up and running to have a place to put my podcasts. Thanks Eva and Nancy!!
